Justyna Maculewicz has been accepted to present a paper at this years International conference on Multisensory Motor Behavior: Impact of Sound in Hanover.

The title of the paper is: “Does a rhythmic auditory feedback help exercising with an auditory instruction?”

Bob L. Sturm won "Prize for Reproducible Research"

Associate Professor Bob L. Sturm has won a “Prize for Reproducible Research” from Sustainable Software for Audio and Music Research. The Sustainable Software initiative supports “the sustainable development and use of software and data to enable high quality research in the audio and music research community”. “Based at the Centre for Digital Music (C4DM) at Queen Mary University of London, it provides developer resources, tutorials, workshops and advice to help the whole audio and music research community.”

Three Medialogy Papers, a poster and one workshop at Foundations of Digital Games

At the Foundations of Digital Games Conference in Chania, Crete, Greece, Medialogy is represented through a number of contributions.

Paolo Burelli organizes the workshop “Intelligent Cinematography and Editing” and presents his paper “Virtual Cinematography in Games: Investigating the Impact on Player Experience”

Henrik Schønau-Fog presents two papers: “Narrative Engagement in Games – A Continuation Desire Perspective” by Henrik Schoenau-Fog, Sandy Louchart , Theodore Lim and Maria Teresa Soto-Sanfiel as well as “The Motivational Power of Game Communities – Engaged through Game Jamming” by Lars Reng, Henrik Schønau-Fog and Lise Busk Kofoed at the FDG 2013 Global Game Jam workshop.

Furthermore, Georgios Triantafyllidis’ work is represented with the poster “A gesture-controlled Serious Game for teaching emotion recognition skills to preschoolers with autism” by Eirini Christinaki, Georgios Triantafyllidis and Nikolaos Vidakis
