Adsb Collective Agreement 2018

On behalf of the executive of the Algoma Local Casual Teachers, I wish you a wonderful school year 2018-2019. We look forward to working with you and getting to know you through a variety of activities planned for our OT members this year. On October 13, 2018, Algoma Occasional Teacher Local held its fall general meeting at the Honda Dealership Building at 415 Pim Street in Sault Ste. – Marie is in the state. The minutes of this autumn 2018 general meeting were e-mailed to all Algoma OT members on November 9, 2018. The following press release was posted on the Algoma District School Board website on Sunday, September 29, 2019, to inform parents that no collective agreement has been reached and that some school services will suffer. This outage does not apply to ADSB schools in Elliot Lake and Blind River. As you may have heard in the media, mediation between the Board of Directors, the Crown and THE CUPE ended without a collective agreement. The general meeting of the Algoma OT Local was held on May 12, 2018 at the Honda Dealership Building at 415 Pim Street in Sault Ste. Marie instead. During that meeting, the Members present voted on amendments to our algoma-OT constitution and discussed a number of relevant issues in a question-and-answer session.

The minutes of this meeting will be e-mailed to all members in early September. Your collective bargaining team (CB) is working your behalf as our current collective agreement with ADSB expires on August 31, 2019. On January 31, our CB team will meet with our ETFO Human Resources Manager to discuss and prioritize CB`s core and local issues. In March, all members of our CB team will participate in ETFO workshops focused on developing and building our capabilities in the run-up to the next round of collective bargaining. We will keep you informed during this negotiation process. The competency allowance has also been increased. The new allowance is mentioned below of the September 2017 liability allowance. Please note that this information does not apply to Elliot Lake and Blind River schools, as staff at these sites are not members of CUPE. At our next Algoma OT (AGM) General Assembly on Saturday, May 4, 2019, we will hold elections for all positions of our Algoma OT executive. For these leadership positions, elections are held in the following order: president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary, member-to-broad.

Any candidate who cannot reach the position initially desired at the general assembly can look forward to running for other positions whose elections will be held later . . . Teachers` salaries are separate; the current grid is September 2017. A voice message contains the necessary instructions to connect to an operator. You`re going to ask yourself a few brief questions. If necessary, a criminal defence lawyer will be contacted and you will be contacted immediately. Our collective bargaining team continues to represent Algoma OT by ensuring that our new collective agreement is implemented on time and in an appropriate manner. If you have any questions about this collective agreement or the issues that arise in schools as part of our collective agreement, please contact each member of our collective team.
